In the fast-paced world of medicine, reflective writing can feel like a burdensome, ‘tick-boxing’ exercise. Yet for some it offers a welcome opportunity to stand-back, reflect, and work out what they truly think. Moreover, there is evidence suggesting reflective writing promotes personal wellbeing, reduces burnout and improves patient care.
