UK Foundation Programme allocation: the impact of moving to Preference Informed Allocation with Computer Generated Ranking
Foundation Programme applicants were previously ranked using a situational judgement test and a measure of medical school performance. In 2024, UKFPO moved to a preference informed allocation using computer-generated ranking. In this session, some of those involved will describe the rationale for this change and the resulting allocation outcomes.
