Professor Cliff Shelton
Professor Cliff Shelton is a professor in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine at Lancaster Medical School and a consultant anaesthetist at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester. His research interests include patient safety, healthcare quality and environmentally sustainable healthcare, and is particularly interested in projects related to anaesthesia and perioperative medicine.
Between 2022-25, Cliff led the dissemination and engagement strand of the NIHR-funded Mapping Underdoctored Areas research study.
