Lina is a consultant paediatrician and early career associate dean. She developed an interest in medical education, pastoral support for resident doctors, and the particular issues facing international doctors, following some of her own experiences. As college tutor, she turned around the training in her department from having serious concerns to becoming an exemplar in a single year. As associate dean, Lina has worked with residents to develop a new approach to trainee engagement which is trainee-led, and ensures parity of esteem for those with marginalised voices.
