Dr Liz Brewster is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at Lancaster University Medical School. Between 2022-25, she led the NIHR-funded research project, Mapping underdoctored areas: the impact of medical training pathways on NHS workforce distribution and health inequalities. Her research examines the intersections between medical workforce, access to healthcare and quality of care.
She gained her PhD from the University of Sheffield in 2012, and her research sits at the intersections of medical humanities, health sociology and healthcare improvement.
