Flexible Training Fellow , Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust

Matthew is a flexible training fellow and histopathology trainee from Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust. He has spent the last 2 years working with the Champion of Flexible Working to delivery sustainable and effective changes around Less Than Full Time Training (LTFT) on a regional and national level. Dr Hanks has helped to pioneer key changes in Nottingham including the creation of an LTFT guide and Educational Supervisor/Training Programme Director package to establish a structured approach to LTFT discussions between trainers and resident doctors receiving positive feedback.
