Dr Mike Jones has been Executive Medical Director at the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians since 2024 and Medical Director for Training and Development since 2019. He is National Clinical Lead for Acute and General Medicine in the NHS England Getting It Right First Time programme. He has been Director of Training and Vice President at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and is a founder member and Past President of the Society for Acute Medicine. Previously he held various roles in the NHS as a Consultant Physician and Deputy Medical Director.
