Professor Namita Kumar

National Postgraduate Dean for PGMDE Risk and Business Oversight , NHSE

Namita’s medical education roles include board member of the Postgraduate Medical and Education Training Board (2003) and Northern Deanery Foundation School Director (2010). She was appointed Postgraduate Dean for Health Education England North East in 2013, Honorary Clinical Professor Durham University (2014) and Newcastle University (2017). She has been a council member of the Academy of Medical Educators since 2014 and elected to RCP Council (2017). Since 2024 Namita has been National Dean for PGMDE Risk and Business Oversight.
