Nathan Damascus is a fourth-year medical student at King’s College London (GKT School of Medical Education) with a strong interest in psychiatry and mental-health research. He is involved in research projects in collaboration with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), focusing on early intervention for psychosis, affective disorders, and the role of inflammatory biomarkers in treatment response in major depressive disorder. He also co-authored a publication on inclusive student-as-partners research exploring belonging and loneliness in university settings.
