Preethi has been a Consultant Histopathologist in Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, Essex since 2017 having trained in the East of England. Preethi has a strong interest in medical education and faculty development and is the Trust Director of Medical Education. She holds the positions of honorary senior lecturer at Queen Mary University of London and associate lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University in undergraduate medical education. She was recently appointed as Associate Postgraduate Dean for Cadaveric Simulation in East of England in November 2025. Preethi co-organises several internationally attended RCPath CPD accredited courses focusing on FRCPath part 2 exam preparation as part of EOE Pathology. She is also the joint Professional Clinical Advisor for Breast screening pathology for the East of England. More recently Preethi has developed her interest in technology enhanced learning within pathology in her role as Blended Learning Specialty Lead for School of Pathology, East of England as well as her role on the editorial board for Royal College of Pathologists Pathology Portal.
