Dr Rachel Winter is a consultant psychiatrist at Leicestershire Partnership Trust and Associate Professor of Medical Education University of Leicester. She developed and delivered an empathy-focused curriculum for medical students at Leicester Medical School and helped establish the Stoneygate Centre for Empathic Healthcare. Her research interests include the impact and evaluation of empathy-focused training, the experiences of healthcare students and professionals undertaking training and finding creative ways to educate for empathy in healthcare.
