Dr Richard Darnton
Richard is a clinical leader & academic GP. He is head of undergraduate general practice at Cambridge & researches healthcare education & workforce issues. Prior to this he was an Associate Dean at Health Education England & developed innovative workforce initiatives. At Cambridge, he has led a major expansion in primary care placements. Nationally, he was instrumental in designing the new funding arrangements for undergraduate primary care placements in England. Richard has recently completed a preliminary study of organisational hybridity as part of his PhD in medical education.
