Interim Director of Public Health; Associate Postgraduate Dean , NHSE NW

Rory is Interim Director of Public Health with a PhD in behavioural psychology. He was recruited inclusively as an early career Associate Postgraduate Dean, and is our first non-medical colleague to be in this position. Rory has used his research interest as well as his EDI expertise from his public health role, to develop his Associate Dean portfolio. He co-leads on EDI, and has now developed an important role in evidence-based medical education. He has undertake research related to EDI, and is performing an in-depth evaluation of our professional support and wellbeing service to provide evidence of effectiveness and value.
