Dr Susan Snape

Sue is a Consultant Microbiologist who has a career long passion for training and has been both an educational supervisor (ES), and Training Programme Director for East Midlands North Microbiology. For the past 3 years she has been LTFT champion at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. She has developed and coordinated a team who listen to the LTFT resident doctors (RD) and then implement positive change in response to feedback. Outputs include regional adoption of a ‘How to guide’ for LTFT, an ES checklist prior to a trainee starting LTFT; and an ES training package endorsed nationally.
