Session objectives:

  • To share and consider approaches to measuring progression through professional judgements
  • To share and consider the implementation of a non-numeric approach to progression
  • To share and consider experiences in using judgements in health care education.

Session summary:
This workshop, facilitated by three experienced educators, will explore with the profession how a framework of professional judgements and reflection might replace the current numeric assessment frameworks to determine progression in medical education.
