Session objectives:
- To explore students’ needs in a virtual learning environment and apply medical education theories to the construction of e-learning resources

- To discuss ideas and concepts to improve virtual learning resources for medical students
Session summary:
As the recent winners of the GMC/MSC competition 2020, we highlighted the importance of communication with patients and those close to them through a virtual e-learning environment. Our workshop explores how to design e-learning modules from the perspective of students that are both the end-user and medical educators themselves.
