Session objectives:

  • To explore and understand the individual and system benefits accrued from undertaking a leadership fellowship
  • To hear from leadership fellow alumni about their subsequent leadership journey and understand the practical value of skills realised
  • To explore where leadership roles fit into healthcare educational career trajectories 

Session summary:
This workshop will explore the leadership experiences of alumni of a trainee leadership programme. Attendees will hear from a variety of healthcare professionals on how their participation in the scheme has influenced their career, how they have used their skills, and explore how we define value in healthcare leadership training.
